1927 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Baseball.

UPDATE: Please note that this lot comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA.

A handwritten notation of "July 25-27" suggests the provided Official Atlantic League baseball was autographed by the greatest team of all time as they stopped in Johnstown, Pennsylvania for an exhibition game on a travel day between series in Chicago and New York. Eleven autographs are discernible, with Ruth and Gehrig the strongest of the bunch at 7/10 and ideally paired together, alone on a side panel. The balance of autographs average 3/10 and include Combs (clubhouse), Meusel, Bengough, Koenig, Fletcher, Wera and Joe Giard, whose single season of pinstriped service further assures the peerless vintage. Relics from this Murderer's Row edition are highly and properly prized by serious collectors, and the Ruth/Gehrig geographical pairing makes this a particularly attractive specimen. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
