1927 Little World Series Team Signed Baseball With Casey Stengel From First Ever Championship. While legions of baseball fans recall Casey Stengel as the Old Perfessor, always with a quip or joke in his arsenal, this team-signed baseball hearkens back to his earliest days as a manager. Signed at the 1927 Little World Series is this signed orb featuring members of the Toledo Mud Hens and Buffalo Bisons. As history shows, this is the first time Stengel skippered a championship team . A full JSA letter of provenance lists forty-three signatures on the horsehide, and the Stengel registers in at 7/10. Some of the autographs on the same panel are lesser. Key autographs include: Bush, Scott, Veach, Magnum, Hollingsworth, Russell, Ryan, Speece, Grimes, Pfeffer and many more. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
