1926 New York City Baseball Legends Multi-Signed Baseball with Joe "Iron Man" McGinnity, Wilbert Robinson. Big Apple relic supplies one of the most stupendous assemblies of the sport's elite ever to share space on a single horsehide sphere. We aren't certain if this ONL (Heydler) ball derives from a single event--a baseball dinner of some sort, perhaps--or if it was carried from ballpark to ballpark over the course of weeks or years to build this enduring tribute to the city's greatest diamond stars (and a few from further afield).Condition is admittedly imperfect, with few signatures rising above 4/10 in strength, but the following iconic names are identifiable: Joe McGinnity, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Miller Huggins, Wilbert Robinson, John McGraw, Rabbit Maranville, Dazzy Vance, Zack Wheat. Twenty-seven signatures appear in total. Ball is shellacked, toning the surface to a deep, tobacco shade. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
