Description

1926-27 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The presence of the Bambino on a 1926-27 National League Heydler ball suggests strongly that it dates one of the Yanks' two Fall Classic contests in those seasons. Regardless of the precise birthdate, it's quite an impressive example, with Ruth's black fountain pen offering, with the oh so desirable "Babe" in quotation format, surviving at a faint but very legible 3/10 status. While half of the ball has toned to a tobacco colored hue, the other half is rather white and the league stamping is very bold. An exciting artifact from baseball's Golden Age. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
