1925 Eddie Collins Signed Baseball. This inaugural class Hall of Famer is strangely difficult on horsehide, and while a signature from 1923-25 Chicago White Sox teammate Roy Elsh undermines single signed status for Collins, the fact that just four true singles have sold in the past twenty years of major auction records should contextualize the rarity. The sweet spot application is a bit light (2.5/10) but totally legible. Ball is a rare early OAL (Johnson) model with a single-season stamping format that matches the 1925 vintage of the Elsh date notation--"June 11, 25"--just eight days after Collins' 3,000th hit was recorded. Ball shows scattered surface wear. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
