1924-31 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. We come to the date range listed in the lot title by the presidential reign of Harry A. Williams, who helmed the Pacific Coast League during the Babe's prime and whose facsimile signature likewise appears on this official PCL sphere. We suspect that Ruth signed the ball during one of his many California excursions, coming both as a star of the silver screen and as a barnstormer with the famous Bustin' Babes vs. Larrupin' Lous tours of 1927 and 1928. Ruth's sweet spot signature rates 8.5/10 on the sweet spot of the west coast orb, which exhibits scattered toning that in no way diminishes the stunning boldness of the Babe's autograph. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
