2006 Mariano Rivera Game Worn Signed New York Yankees Cap. It will be a long time before a closer can match the longevity enjoyed by the sensational Rivera. His game-worn wares have grown and grown in value over years, and we see no reason why that trend won't continue. Worn by the Hall of Famer during the 2006 season when he registered thirty-four saves and a 1.80 ERA, while being named the Delivery Man of the Year and an All-Star.

Inner headband displays "New Era," "Authentic Collection," and "7 1/4" tags. Light wear is evident with discoloration from perspiration on the headband and inner brim. Rivera signed and inscribed the outer brim in silver sharpie "Mariano Rivera 06 Game Used." He also inscribed the inner brim "42" and "Dios de Bendiga" ["God Bless You"] in black sharpie. Authentication is secured with a typed letter signed by Rivera on Steiner letterhead. Does authentication get any better than that? Letter of provenance from Mariano Rivera. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph).
