1988 Jim Rice Game Used & Signed Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Massive game use is apparent upon every square centimeter of this signature model Cooper C243, used by the Hall of Fame slugger during his final full season before bowing out in early August of 1989. The barrel is coated with ball marks, the grain swollen with punishment. Pine tar on the cracked handle is as thick as fudge. Length and weight (35, 32 oz.) are stamped on the knob, where Rice's number "14" appears in vintage marker. Barrel holds vintage black marker signature rating 6/10. Unquestionably one of the most "pounded" Rice bats we've encountered. LOA from PSA/DNA GU 9.5. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
