1969-72 Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat. This signature model Hillerich & Bradsby U1 is the style favored by the heroic Hall of Famer in the final years of his career, and his life, the model with which he powered his way to the elusive 3,000 hit mark. Presented here is a fabulous example of a blonde ash weapon once wielded by the superstar Pirate, exhibiting a few unmistakable ball and stitch marks on the barrel. All characteristics are exact to factory records, from the thirty-six ounces of weight to the thirty-six inches in length. Properly fonted and aged number "21" on the knob recalls Clemente's since-retired jersey number. Far more than an artifact of our National Pastime, this is an inspirational piece from one of the game's greatest humanitarians. MEARS A6.5.
