    Description

1954 Harmon Killebrew Game Used & Self-Authenticated Rookie Bat. Seminal relic is one of the very first bats issued to the Hall of Famer and 500 Home Run Club member as a Major Leaguer. Expert John Taube's letter of examination reports that Killer got just two of these bats in his first Hillerich & Bradsby order, and saved this one as a souvenir. The result is light game use but thrilling relevance, with a few rack streaks and depressions on back barrel found on the barrel along with a 9+/10 blue sharpie inscription: "This is a game used bat from my 1954 season - Harmon Killebrew."

Length and weight of thirty-five inches (35") and thirty-four ounces (34 oz.) respectively match that initial order of Killebrew's favored K55 model. A number "3" in marker on the knob appears to be a later addition. One of the most important artifacts from this beloved slugger ever to surface. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 6.5. LOA from MEARS, A8. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
