    Description

1940's Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The Babe takes a rare vacation from the sweet spot here, allowing his black fountain pen ink signature to spread its wings a little further in the wider acreage of the offered sphere's side panel. The autograph has mellowed slightly over the passing decades to a 7/10 strength. Ball's non-offical stamping is faded to the edge of visibility, but the two-tone stitching ably mimics those official models used during all but the final two season's of Ruth's playing career. A solid mid-grade specimen of the hobby's most essential building block. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
