1932 Babe Ruth Signed Photograph to Teammate George Pipgras. Babe Ruth had to have an appreciation for George Pipgras. While Ruth, Lou Gehrig and the offense known as Murderers' Row made sure runs were put on the scoreboard with regularity, someone had to set down the opposition. Pipgras was near the top of the Yankees' rotation in the 1920's and a part of four World Series teams. This 8x10" photograph shows a relaxed Ruth with his wife Claire wearing their Sunday best. Ruth signed this photo in blue fountain and inscribed: "To Geo + Eva Best Wishes Claire + Babe Ruth Feb. 29 1932." A letter from Pipgras' daughter will accompany and helps secure authenticity. Letter of provenance from George Pipgras' Daughter. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
