1928 Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig & Al Simmons Signed Baseball. The "Oct 27th/28" notation on the provided triple-signed sphere dates the important relic to the famed Bustin' Babes vs. Larrupin' Lous barnstorming tour that followed the mighty Yankees' second consecutive World Series sweep. Joining the titular stars is fellow Hall of Famer Al Simmons, who would earn a World Championship ring of his own the following season as a member of the 1929 Philadelphia Athletics. It is Simmons (9/10) who steals the sweet spot spotlight from Ruth (7/10), who migrates to the southern panel as a result. Gehrig (9/10) appears to the east of Simmons. It appears to be Simmons who inscribed the ball to a fan on the northern panel. A high-grade souvenir from the most famous domestic baseball tour in history. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
