    Description

1927 New York Giants Gold Season Pass. The only other example of this gorgeous fourteen-karat gold pass we've ever encountered was issued to the venerable Kenesaw Mountain Landis, so the scarcity would strongly suggest that only the most "Important" of Very Important People would receive an upgrade from the more commonly seen silver variety. We're at a loss for the identity of this rare artifact's former owner, however, as he is identified only with a simple engraved "Rusty" on verso, above the microscopic "Lambert Bros.14k" stamping. Today we can be thankful that the mysterious Rusty saw fit to hold on to this artful relic, which presents in stunning NRMT condition. Certainly one of the most attractive examples from the Polo Grounds series to reach the auction block in recent years. Guide Value or Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
