Unique 1887 Goodwin & Co. "Gypsy Queen Cigarettes" Pack - Dates to 1887! Offered is the only known Gypsy Queen Cigarettes pack dating to the same time the Goodwin & Co. circulated the N175 baseball cards. Although the set contains well over 100 documented subjects, in most cases only one, two or three examples are confirmed. Those treasured cards circulated inserted into these 10-count shell & tray sliding style pack. Needless to say packs and boxes are exceedingly rare and in regards to the packs, they are truly close to impossible to find.While some may prefer the more decorative Gypsy Queen graphics over the simplified font styling of this pack, we suggest it was for this very reason that this pack would have been discarded more often, leaving more of the elaborate variety to future generations. The pack is complete with one lone very small fissure to the side panel of the inner tray. Otherwise the pack show very little wear and is in exceptional EX/MT condition. The tax stamp is on the sliding tray and displays a "Nov. 1, 1887" overprint stamp!
