Extremely Rare 1989 Topps Test "Heads Up!" Baseball Box with 24 packs. We certainly hope our bidders don't loose their heads over this presentation. The 1989 Topps "Heads Up" series never made it past the test marketing stage thus remaining very scarce. The 1990 version is common but 1989 is a different story. The set is only different pin-up "heads" including stars Tony Gwynn, Will Clark, Dwight Gooden, Ricky Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., Darryl Strawberry, Frank Viola, Bo Jackson, Ryne Sandberg, Gregg Jefferies, Wade Boggs, Ellis Burks, Gary Sheffield, Mark McGwire, Mark Grace, Jim Abbott, Ozzie Smith, Jose Canseco, Don Mattingly, Kirby Puckett, Eric Davis, Mike Greenwell, Dale Murphy, Mike Schmidt. Each approx. 4-1/2" x 6" card has a punch hole for mounting to any flat surface with a . Most 1980's collectors don't have even a single example with full boxes extremely rare.
