Extremely Rare 1949 Bowman Baseball 5-Cent Wax Pack. The 1949 Bowman baseball card series is a hobby classic. The look of the 240-card promotion is both bold and vivid and yet wonderfully nostalgic and endearing. The rookie card debut of future HoFers like George Kell, Robin Roberts, Roy Campanella, Early Wynn, Richie Ashburn, and Duke Snider plus HoFers like Stan Musial, Warren Spahn, Yogi Berra Jackie Robinson, Satchell Paige and others certainly does not hurt their seemingly universal appeal. Offered is something Heritage would have thought to never have the opportunity to offer our clients - an extremely rare 1949 Bowman Baseball 5-Cent wax pack! With some effort one can see the top card is Murray Dickson. The pack is solid and in excellent condition. PSA does not make a holder for this pack. It was sent to noted hobby expert Steve hart. This was his response:

"This is only the second time I have been asked to authenticate a 1949 Bowman Baseball 5-Cent wax pack. With so little else with which to compare, I do observe the sides of this pack are sealed. My previous experience was with 1948, not 1949, Bowman packs and those packs had loose left and right flaps. Using due diligence I have to conclude that I cannot say with 100% certainty the pack has been tampered with. To that end though, I cannot say with 100% certainty it has not been tampered with and is in fact 100% original."
