Circa 1910 "Sweet Caporal" Cigarette Pack. Offered is an early 20th century "Sweet Caporal" brand cigarette pack. This is an enticing glimpse in tobacco and collecting history as some of the most highly collected sets featured cards with the Sweet Corporal brand including cards with everything from birds to T205 Gold Borders and T296 White Border baseball cards. Our offered pack displays a Series of 1910 tax stamp with no overprint stamp. A side panel tells us there are (should be) 15 cigarettes inside and was packaged at Factory 30, 4th Dist. of South Carolina. Please note T206 cards from factory 30 are marked "2nd Dist. New York." The bottom seal is intact all contents appear intact. Presents at the excellent level.Auction Info
