1979 Topps Baseball Wax Pack Grocery Trays Case (2x24) - Ozzie Smith Rookie Year! The 1979 tray packs provided an opportunity to buy three wax packs with hopefully pack-fresh MINT or Gem MT cards. One of those was a "Wizard" in future HoFer Ozzie Smith who making his rookie debut; or second year cards of Eddie Murray or Paul Molitor. Offered is a rarity - a case of 1979 Topps tray packs that holds two trays of 24 packages, each package has three wax packs totaling out at 144 individual packs. This could give you several opportunities of snagging the rookie card of "The Wizard" plus potentially many other stars & HoFers. We are guessing the chewing gum is not so fresh so maybe pass on popping one in your mouth. The outer box has mild surface wear and dings and or bends at the corners. Contents are minty fresh. Both inner trays have been authenticated and sealed by Steve Hart-Baseball Card Exchange.Auction Info
