1952 Topps Baseball Five Cent High Number Wax Pack GAI EX-MT 6. The collective drive is fueled by the discovery of an unknown stash of never before touched vintage cards. Large collections are rare finds but small discoveries are surprisingly no less exciting when it comes to the unopened pack. If you could choose just one pack to add to your collection, what would it be? After a brief moment focusing on the year you were born, or waxing sentimental about the year your child was born, the moment of euphoric clarity hits you! Topps... 1952... Mantle! The sixth and final series! The Mantle! How could anyone decide against the idea of completely undisturbed examples from greatest set of baseball cards ever produced. The mere presence of this red and green graphic wonder, to ignore the Bowman-mocking "Giant Size" and "PLUS 5/8 oz BUBBLE GUM" copy would be sacrilege for the wise consumer. This is your chance to acquire the most revered wax pack of the post-war era. What lies inside is unknown but the content of this multi-card wonderment is almost beyond comprehension. There could be a Mickey Mantle; a Jackie Robinson; a Roy Campanella, an Eddie Mathews, Leo Durocher, Bill Dickey or '51 Giants home run hero Bobby Thomson. There could be a Mantle and a Robinson, a Robinson and a Campanella! The combinations are seemingly endless, but the time spent speculating is the stuff dreams are made of.

This auction features the first opportunity we have had to auction a Topps unopened pack from 1952. We proudly offer a 1st series wax treasure elsewhere in this auction and as if we could have planned this any better we offer this confirmed Sixth-Series Five Cent unopened wax pack from the late spring/fall of 1952! Prior to encapsulation, under bright light one is able to see the back card of the pack which is #389 Ben Wade. Safely encapsulated and graded GAI EX-MT 6, for the most part the fragile wax paper is as it was 61-years ago. Some minor creasing and slight openings (the ultimate teaser) in the lower corners are the only signs of its true age and mean nothing compared to the unquestionable significance of an unopened 5-cent wax pack from the rarest segment of the first major Topps card production. The rarity of this pack cannot be overstated. To the best of our knowledge this is the only 3rd party graded high number only 1952 pack known to exist. You may never have another chance to own what arguably is the most significant unopened pack in the industry.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
