Ultra-Rare 1960 Fleer #80 Joe Tinker/Pepper Martin SGC Authentic. This seldom seen 1960 Fleer Joe Tinker (obverse)/Pepper Martin (reverse) rarity from the 1960 Fleer Baseball issue could only be obtained off of a sheet. This card is a designated as a hand-cut proof card, thus the SGC Authentic grade. Originally, the 1960 Fleer set was supposed to be an 80 card set, but contractual problems with Fleer had eliminated this treasure. However, there were a few sheets that managed to leave the factory and had card number 80, hence their arrival into the market. There were a few different variations to this card, to which the Tinker/Martin has had a total of 3 cards professionally graded. Two of these rarities have been graded by PSA and this was the first by SGC. For many, obtaining card #80 would be extremely difficult, but for some lucky collector, it will make their 1960 Fleer set complete.
