Rare 1887-90 N175 Watch Burnham (#55-1) SGC Good+ 2.5. Burnham was a manager and umpire who got the name "Watch" for an incident with King Kelly. In the process of ejecting Kelly from a game, Burnham took out a watch while telling Kelly he had one minute to get off the field. Kelly destroyed the watch not realizing it was the same watch his team presented to him before the game. Burnham was holding onto it... for safe keeping. This is his only pose in the N172 (and N175) series. Pose: #55-1 Portrait, Looking Left; Caption: BURNHAM, Man'gr, Indianapolis. Grade: SGC Good+ 2.5. This is an excellent-mint card with a lone horizontal crease. Photo Quality: Exceptional.
