1928 Star Player Candy Babe Ruth SGC 40 VG 3. Issued during the season following his record-breaking sixty home run World Championship campaign of 1927, this card was unquestionably the most coveted of the Star Player Candy set at the time of issue. The same holds true today, though just three examples have ever been submitted to SGC, and none to PSA.
