Description
1926-29 Exhibits P.C. Babe Ruth (Bat Follow Through, Blank Back) SGC 40 VG 3 The Exhibit Supply Co. honors the Sultan of Swat twice - after all, he was having some very good few years - in their 1926-29 promotion of arcade cards that could also serve as postcards. Overall, this is a rather scarce issue with this card being Ruth's "Batting, Follow-Through" printed in a purplish tint. A classic Ruth pose if there ever was one. The back is blank. Graded SGC 40 VG 3. There are still fewer than thirty of this pose confirmed via the SGC census for this pose and back combination. There are two examples graded VG with two rated higher.Guide Value or Estimate: $12,000 - up.
