1925 Exhibits Lou Gehrig SGC 30 Good 2. It's nearly impossible for a modern collector, who's been brought up in an environment of securely wrapped packs and boxes, plastic top-loads and, in general, careful handling of one's cards, to grasp the extent of difficulty in locating certain cards from the 1920's. One such card that poses an extremely daunting challenge is the 1925 Exhibits card featuring Henry "Lou" Gehrig which is his highly coveted rookie card! The battle to find one starts with the low supply of this scarce Exhibit year, the second being the fact that once in a collection, this card stays in a collection. Offered is a nice example that does have corner wear, soiling and surface roughness on the reverse but no creasing leaving a clean and appealing full-figure portrait. Graded SGC 30 Good 2. From a total population of only twenty, this is one of four for the grade with nine higher.
