1925 Drake's Cake Babe Ruth #61 PSA VG 3. The small Black & White "TV Baseball Series" cards issued in 1950 were not the fist Drake's Cake baseball cards. There is a scarce 1924 Drake's Cake series of 64 movie stars. Babe Ruth was signed with Universal Pictures as the star of "Headin Home" in 1920 so card #61 was devoted to the silver screen hero. The larger 2-5/8 x 4-1/8" cards are not plentiful by any means. Ruth is clearly wearing his Yankee pin stripes. The reverse oddly advertises how "most packages" of "Drake's Cake" products will contain a card. Graded PSA VG 3. One of only nine total graded by PSA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
