1922 E121 American Caramel Series of 120 "Babe" Ruth, Holding Bird SGC Authentic. The E121 Series of 120 made by the American Caramel Co. card features the legendary New York Yankees Hall of Fame outfielder Babe Ruth. One of several Ruth variations in the series, this variation has "Babe" in quote marks and pictures him holding a bird while standing next to an unidentified individual during some type of pregame ceremony or possibly a scene for one of the two films he appeared in during that era. This example has been graded SGC Authentic for the tape that is holding the bottom right corner to the main portion of the card. Stains, creases and paper loss can be found on the card, but the fact remains, it's still a Ruth card and would be a welcome addition to any collection.Auction Info
