    Description

1921 American Caramel Co. Babe Ruth E121 SGC 84 NM 7. This card is extracted from the scarce American Caramel Series of 80 (E121) set of the same year. Babe, far and away, is the key card in the set. Interestingly, though the caption on front reads "Babe Ruth, R.F. - New York Americans," the photographic image is of the Babe pitching in a Red Sox uniform, an image that would be worth a mint in any vintage format, much less a sports card. Condition is remarkable for a treasure of such advanced age, and in this case, of the twelve submitted cards of the same in the SGC population report; this one stands alone as the highest graded example ever. Here is your chance to get the best!

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
