Description

1915 Cracker Jack Robert Veach #174 PSA Mint 9 - Pop One, None Higher. Bobby Veach was a 14-year veteran who is one of the unsung heroes of his era. Playing next to future HoFers Harry Heilmann, Sam Crawford and Ty Cobb was both a blessing and curse. He was a lifetime .310 hitter who ranked high in defensive categories season after season but remains largely in obscurity. In 1915, the Tigers played Veach, Cobb and Crawford in their outfield - a trio baseball historian and statistician Bill James called the greatest outfield in history. Graded PSA Mint 9. The one and card currently in MINT. None have rated higher.
