    Description

1915 Cracker Jack Joe Wood #22 SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 - Pop Two, Three Higher! Since 1900, only 13 pitchers have won 30 or more games in a season and Smoky Joe Wood is one of them. His best year was in 1912 when he went 34-5 with a 1.91 ERA. Wood also tied the great Walter Johnson for posting 16 consecutive wins. To do so, Wood had to beat Johnson and did so on a 2-hit 1-0 victory. This 1915 Cracker Jack is one of Woods' more popular card collectibles. Considering the thin, fragile paper stock one can only be grateful that is card has survived in close to "brand- new" condition. One of two in NM/MT+, three known higher.
