1915 Cracker Jack Harry Hooper #35 PSA NM-MT 8. The Pittsburgh Press called his home run-saving catch off a Larry Doyle drive in the final game of the 1912 World Series one of the finest in the history of the sport. That praise would transfer to Willie Mays after the 1954 fall classic. "He does not seek the limelight," they reported. "He is reserved and bashful, and every action of his upon the baseball field plainly shows these qualities." In Reality, no man had tasted World Series glory in a Boston uniform as often as did Harry Hooper - the only player present for each of the four trips to the mountaintop between 1912 and 1918. We are sure Hooper will get all the attention he deserve with this amazing entry. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of eighteen in NM-MT. Only four have rated higher.
