    Description

1915 Cracker Jack Clark Griffith #167 PSA NM-MT 8. Clark Griffith began his lifetime association with baseball in the 1890's and remained faithful to the game for over 60 years. His debut came with the St. Louis Browns in 1891 with "the Old Fox" becoming a player-manager for various teams until 1920. That same year he became owner of the Senators, a title he held until his death in 1955. When the American League was formed in 1901, Griffith was one of the first players to join the new league and convinced others to do so as well. He rewarded the Chicago White Sox by winning 24 games and helping to the newly-formed team their first pennant. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. Pop eighteen in NM/MT with five higher from a total pop of one hundred.
