1914 Cracker Jack Honus Wagner #68 PSA Fair 1.5. By 1914, the career of "The Flying Dutchman" was winding down. He was then forty-years old and the days of batting titles and World Series showdowns were behind him. It is good luck that the two years that Cracker Jack released these beauties that Honus Wagner was still active, because we got this terrific likeness of the great man on the cardboard slabs. The premiere 1914 run has always been a condition stickler, mainly because the cards were placed into the packs of sticky confection without any kind of protection. Here we have an example that has a brief tear that continues as a crease while displaying only mild to modest discoloration, no surface loss. A card that has held up quite well.
