Description

1914 Cracker Jack Grover Alexander #37 PSA VG 3. Collectors of Cracker Jacks, 300-Game Winners and Hall of Famers are largely lacking an example of the second-year appearance of this all-time great but some consider the rookie card of this troubled legend. His inner demons, epilepsy and post-traumatic stress from World War I horrors couldn't derail one of the most remarkable pitching careers in baseball history. He is most recognized for striking out Tony Lazzeri in the bottom of the seventh and the bases full the '26 World Series. There is some staining and corner wear one would expect from a PSA VG 3 card. Total graded by PSA: Twenty-five. This is one of five for this grade, there are eleven graded higher.
