Description

1912 E300 Plow's Candy Jack Barry SGC 40 VG 3 - The Only SGC Example! The E300 issue was an unknown entry as recently as the 1950's. They are so obscure and so isolated they managed to avoid classification for decades in the American Card Catalog until a few specimens first came to light in the late 1960's. Plow's Candy remains the final entry within the "E" card section. Jack Barry was the shortstop on the famous $100,000 Athletics infield who were a key reason the Athletics winning American League pennants in 1910, '11, '13 and '14, with World Championships in 1910, 1911, and 1913. The nicely preserved, blank-backed card showing light amounts of creases and soiling. Graded SGC 40 VG 3, this is the only example reviewed by SGC!
