1912 E270 Colgan's Chips Ty Cobb PSA Good 2. Issued after the massive E254 edition, the Colgan's Gum Co. of Louisville, Kentucky continue to include the greatest stars of the Dead Ball era via wafer thin cards inside their distinctive metal tin packages. This edition as two major differences. A red border surrounds the central portrait and were apparently sold in far less quantities. For the Cobb specialist, this is may be your one chance to acquire this rare Georgia Peach offering. Currently, a combine nation of SGC and PSA census reports show a total of just four have been reviewed. This is the one and only example is a PSA holder. A startling number considering the tens of thousands of early 20th century cards that have been submitted to them. Graded PSA Good 2, the backs shows overall toning, the front shows some light surface wear and wrinkling. This is one Cobb card rarely offered in any condition.
