1911 Zeenut PCL Buck Weaver PSA VG-EX 4. The one year "Buck" Weaver played for the San Francisco Seals just happened to be the same year Zeenut baseball cards made their debut. The set features potentially future Major Leaguers but it was Weaver who would certainly make a name for himself. His cocky, self-assured posture and expression are those of a person who would someday become involved in scandal. His on the field success is overshadowed by his "Black Sox" status. Weaver has enjoyed wide-scale exoneration by the collecting hobby that earns him a status normally reserved for the sports biggest stars and HoFers. This pre-rookie is one of his most coveted early cards. Graded PSA VG-EX 4. Who can resist this special relic that in light of its PCL origins and the evocative nature of its subject soars above the finite realm of "sports card." One of three in VG-EX with two higher from just nine total cards reviewed by PSA.
