1911 T212-3 Obak Buck Weaver PSA NM 7 - Pop Two, None Higher. George "Buck" Weaver played in the PCL for the San Francisco Seals for just one season in 1911. That tenure is commemorated by this West Coast-issued "Obak" scarcity and who could have guessed it would become one of the most coveted Obak cards ever produced. In an alluring, colorful illustration, the collectible presents a waist-high pose of a man who would make a name for himself with the Chicago "Black" Sox. Weaver's cocky, self-assured posture and insouciant expression are those of a person who would somehow, someday -- innocently or not -- become involved in renown scandal. This fame has allowed Weaver to enjoy wide-scale exoneration by the collecting hobby. Offered is one of the finest - stamped or not - examples of this classic card. Graded PSA NM 7. One of two cards graded NM by PSA with none higher.
