1911 E94 Close Candy Sherry Magee (Purple) SGC 84 NM 7 with "Your Out!" Overprint! For the E94 enthusiast this card has everything - quality, desirable color variant and displays a rare reverse advertising. The player is Sherry Magee of the famed T206 "Magie" error. More Information: Who was Opie Dildock?
During that era there was a cartoon strip called "Old Opie Dildock's Stories." The cartoons told wild, over the top tall-tales of Opie and the Dildock clan and their made up adventures. Example, in 1913 one story was about how Opie played catch with and octopus so of course he took him to a baseball game of course. Considering the theme of the cartoon, it isn't surprising this back advertised "suckers."
