    Description

    Population one, just one superior!

1911 D304 Brunners Bread Honus Wagner PSA NM 7. A contemporary of the T206 issue that features Wagner as the subject of the hobby's most coveted cardboard, this Brunners issue makes that iconic tobacco card seem downright common by comparison. There is no apocryphal tale of Wagner's personal interference in production that accounts for the tiny population of Brunners Wagners--just eighteen residing in a PSA slab, about half the population of T206 Wagners--but instead a limited, regional original distribution that makes this entire issue a true hobby rarity.

Add condition into the equation and this particular representation elevates into the most rarefied air as the only inhabitant of its lofty grading level, with just one superior. The Old Dutchman is perfectly centered and flawlessly registered, with the bulk of points lost to minor soiling of the verso. A truly special remembrance dating to Wagner's eighth and final National League batting championship.
