1910 E98 "Set Of 30" Chief Bender PSA Mint 9 Black Swamp Find - The Last Mint 9! Unquestionably one of the finest Chief Bender career contemporary cards hobbyists will ever encounter. The presented "Black Swamp" specimen features a spectacular image, blazing red backdrop and, well, it has everything one looks for in a true Mint condition card. The Native American superstar pitcher for Connie Mack's first great Philadelphia Athletics dynasty retired with a .625 winning percentage and 2.46 ERA. A formidable foe during the regular season, Bender was even more dominating under the pressure of the post season. Participating in five World Series, bender started 10 games, completing nine and added six victories to his stats. Graded PSA Mint 9, one of three to grade Mint with none higher. Deserves that grade every day of every week of every year. This is the last opportunity to acquire a PSA Mint 9 of Chief Bender.

The Black Swamp Find

Early in 2012, the most significant trading card find in hobby history emerged from a small Ohio town, neat individual player stacks of untouched cards, each banded by a short length of twine tied by a print shop employee a full century ago. Discovered in an attic in a box long forgotten beneath an ancient dollhouse, these stunningly pristine relics from the Dead Ball Era made their hobby debut in the August 2012 Platinum Night auction in Baltimore, providing the Heritage clientele with an opportunity outpacing even the most fanciful dreams of the pre-war trading card collector. Named for the damp landscape on the edge of Defiance, Ohio, where the cards served their one hundred years of solitude, the Black Swamp Find of 1910 E98's provides candy card collectors with the opportunity to add a scarce high-grade issue to their collection which was never available before.  Made famous by an appearance on NBC's "The Today Show" and just about every newspaper in the United States, the Black Swamp Find arises again to tempt the uncompromising collector in this Signature Auction.
