1910 Burke And Atwell Chicago Cubs Postcard SGC 10 Poor 1. At the end of the first decade of the 20th century it is estimated there were millions of postcards sent with messages reading everything from Happy Birthday, Happy Valentine's Day, to simply what's the latest with grandma and grandpa. Post cards of many theme populated mail bags and sports was a popular theme. With the great success they were enjoying, the Chicago Cubs were the choice for multiple series which are all quite scarce today. Offered is a 1910 team postcard featuring the 1910 Cubs produced to Burke & Atwell with a composite portraits of twenty-four players, officials, etc. including Archer, Chance, Evers, Tinker,, Brown, Steinfeldt, Kling and Zimmerman. Used as mail, postal cancelation is October 21, 1910. Graded SGC 10 Poor 1.Guide Value or Estimate: $400 - up.
