    Description

1910-12 Plow Boy Ed Walsh (Blank Back) SGC 40 VG 3 - Only Four Graded Examples. Like no other pitcher in the 20th century, no other hurler worked as many innings in one season as did Ed Walsh of the Chicago White Sox in 1908. Claiming his main pitch was easy on his arm, this allowed him to rack up 464 innings and win 40 games - a number unmatched to this day. This rare premium featuring the mound king is certainly his rarest card collectible. This card has been graded SGC 40 VG 3. One of only four graded examples found on both PSA and SGC census reports. This is the only example at this grade level with two rated higher.
