Description
1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Hans Wagner SGC Authentic. The 1910 Sporting Life card set pictures the photographic portraits of Carl Horner. Horner's portrait of Honus is, of course, one of the most recognizable images in baseball and was used as the basis for the famous T206 Wagner card. The offered card is the pastel variation and has a gorgeous image of Wagner boasting extremely bold colors. The reverse, which contains a Sporting Life advertisement, is centered somewhat to the right but is otherwise pristine. The card appears to have been trimmed along the lower border at some point over the last one hundred years, thus giving it the designation of Authentic from SGC and allowing one lucky collector the opportunity to place this tough Hall of Fame single into their collection at a fraction of the typical price.Auction Info
