1910-11 M116 Sporting Life Amby McConnell (Chicago) SGC Poor 1. John Esch collection. Amby McConnell played for only four years in the big leagues ending in 1911. An August 1910 trade sent him to the Chicago White Sox. Naturally, the Sporting Life issued an updated card. The result is what is possibly the rarest M116 produced based on census reports - the McConnell "Chicago American" team variation. Graded SGC Poor 1. One of only four total cards submitted to SGC! This is the first time Heritage Auctions has offered this card at auction.
