1909 E92 Dockman & Sons Honus Wagner (Batting) SGC 55 VG/EX+ 4.5. There is no question that Honus Wagner's star has been burnished over the passing decades by his residence upon baseball's most coveted tobacco card. This fact did not go unnoticed and is probably one of the reasons why he appears on a pair of cards in the candy issues of the same era. Offered is his "Batting" variant from the E92 Dockman & Sons issue of 1909. While some may not appreciate Wagner in a more cartoon illustration the truth is this pose is seems exactly how Wagner would have wanted to be immortalized. Graded SGC 55 VG/EX+ 4.5.
