1909-16 PC758 Max Stein Joe Wood SGC EX 5 - Pop One, None Higher! The "PC758" series is a strikingly rare edition of postcards featuring major baseball stars of the 1909 to 1916 era. Max Stein, a book dealer who also produced "Postcards of Noted People," utilized the photography of Francis Burke for this series. At the time, one could purchase 100 postcards for 35 cents or 1,000 of them for $2.75. Today, they are among the more coveted and challenging acquisitions for vintage card specialists.
