1909-13 M101-2 Sporting News Supplements Clark Griffith (Bkank Back) PSA Authentic. M101-2 Sporting News Baseball Supplements were issued over a five-year period starting in 1909, giving readers of the Sporting News found a little bonus in their papers The format was ideal as images were far greater than those found on trading cards and in finer detail than those used in typical newspapers. Obviously, this meant to assemble a 100-piece run of all 100, it was quite the task. Offered is an M101-2 Sporting News supplement featuring hall of Famer Clarke Griffith with the traditional blank reverse. Issued on November 6, 1913. Typewritten on the reverse is "Pres. Of wash. and manager" which explains the "altered qualifier. Encapsulated PSA Authentic-Altered.
