1909-11 T206 Tolstoi Ty Cobb (Bat Off Shoulder) PSA Authentic. The packaging for Tolstoi Cigarettes features a portrait of its namesake, Leo Tolstoy, the author of "War and Peace." Another expert of war and peace was Douglas MacArthur. He had this to say about Ty Cobb: "Few names have left a firmer imprint upon the stages of the history of American times than that of Ty Cobb. For a quarter of a century his aggressive exploits on the diamond, while inviting opposition as well as acclaim, brought high drama." Score some huge bragging rights by adding this amazing Ty Cobb card from the T206 set which displays a very scarce "Tolstoi - Russian Mouth Piece Cigarettes" and a classic "Bat Off Shoulder" pose of legend Ty Cobb. This example has been graded PSA Authentic. The card exhibits obvious corner wear, edge wear, surface issues, and creasing.
