1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal Christy Mathewson (White Cap) PSA NM 7. Call it the "Jumbo Matty" as this card is a little wider and taller than factory specs. And after 105 years it is still a stunning copy that doesn't seem to have aged or been handled by human hands. We all know the legend that is Christy Mathewson. A quick look at this "White Cap" variant we immediately see the rich hues and vivid white border. Corners show minimal wear both to the naked and eye and under magnification. This is one of the finer examples on record and looking as hard as one might we see no reason to question that status. The reverse displays a "Sweet Caporal - 150 Subjects" with a Factory 30 designation. Graded PSA NM 7. Of the over 600 examples have graded by PSA, only ten have earned a "NM" label with fourteen rated higher.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
